Therefore, the energy production from household waste is an extremely important area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It will be recalled that the biogas plant in Mariupol started operating in early 2020. In less than a year of operation, in 2020 the biogas plant generated 2.2 million kWh of electricity and paid the city more than 650,000 hryvnias under a cooperation agreement, as well as about 100,000 hryvnias in other taxes and fees. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Such projects are:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>local infrastructure development;<\/li><li>additional budget revenues;<\/li><li>minimization of the risk of fires at the landfill;;<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>new jobs;<\/li><li>reduction of environmental risks;<\/li><li>prevent toxins from entering the air and soil.<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/uabio.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Mariupol_biogazova-stantsiya-1-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10106\" width=\"1029\" height=\"616\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>After the launch of the second stage, the total capacity of the biogas plant has increased TWICE, which will increase the volume of electricity production and the amount of funds allocated to local and state budgets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>It will be recalled that the Ukrteplo Group of Companies has been working in renewable energy since 2011.
