{"id":13153,"date":"2022-06-23T16:05:00","date_gmt":"2022-06-23T13:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uabio.org\/?p=13153"},"modified":"2022-06-24T12:29:12","modified_gmt":"2022-06-24T09:29:12","slug":"pyarnuska-tets-tsentralizovane-opalennya-na-biomasi-v-estoniyi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uabio.org\/en\/news\/13153\/","title":{"rendered":"P\u00e4rnu CHP plant | District heating on biomass in Estonia"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are accumulating experience for future Ukrainian projects, which should include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>efficient and clean production,<\/li><li>low emissions,<\/li><li>competitive heat prices for end consumers.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>P\u00e4rnu CHP is a co-generation plant that covers the base load of town P\u00e4rnu and industrial needs via its own heat network and produces electricity for the grid. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Capacity: <\/strong>24 MW of electricity and 45 + 5 MW of heat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Specifications. <\/strong>The plant has a 74 MW fluidized-bed biomass and peat steam boiler, and is equipped with a 5 MW auxiliary steam boiler, working with natural gas. The boiler is able to burn biomass and peat mixtures, which gives the best economic result.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The plant is equipped with air coolers 36.5 MW for covering the low heat demand during the summer season.
