Back then, the client was one of the first investors in a biogas plant in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One decade later, in 2016, the plant is converted and made suitable for biomethane production with gas to grid injection.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex (max-width: 1170px) 100vw, 1170px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Capacity<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>280 Nm\u00b3\/hr of biogas and\u00a0180 Nm\u00b3\/hr of biomethane is produced out of 7,000 tons of manure and 7,000 tons of waste products. <strong>The efficiency of the installation<\/strong> reaches 99.5%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The plant has been completely repowered with the latest available technologies for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>digestion <\/strong>(such as highly efficient mixers and an insulated double membrane roof), <\/li><li><strong>biomethane production<\/strong> (The original CHP has been replaced by the biogas upgrading unit which had been produced by the HoSt Biomethane\u00ae company),<\/li><li><strong>maximal heat recovery<\/strong> (maximal heat recovery in combination with heat pumps is applied for the heat consumption of the biogas into the grid.\u00a0More than 1 million Nm\u00b3 biomethane annually is produced, which is equivalent to the natural gas consumption of 750 households.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Financing<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The project has been realised with Top Sector Energy subsidy from the Ministry of Economic Affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator
