{"id":14888,"date":"2023-06-08T16:38:42","date_gmt":"2023-06-08T13:38:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uabio.org\/?p=14888"},"modified":"2023-06-13T13:47:41","modified_gmt":"2023-06-13T10:47:41","slug":"zminy-sproshhennya-pryyednannya-vyrobnykiv-biometanu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uabio.org\/en\/news\/14888\/","title":{"rendered":"Amendments to the NERC resolutions: simplification for biomethane producers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>We sincerely thank <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nerc.gov.ua\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the\u00a0National Commission\u00a0for State\u00a0Energy Regulation\u00a0(NERC) of Ukraine<\/a> for improving the gas codes in terms of simplifying the connecting of biomethane producers.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/uabio.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/biomethane_gettyimages.png\" alt=\"\u041f\u0456\u0434\u02bc\u0454\u0434\u043d\u0430\u043d\u043d\u044f \u0432\u0438\u0440\u043e\u0431\u043d\u0438\u043a\u0456\u0432 \u0431\u0456\u043e\u043c\u0435\u0442\u0430\u043d\u0443 \u0441\u043f\u0440\u043e\u0449\u0435\u043d\u043e\" class=\"wp-image-14889\" width=\"461\" height=\"240\" srcset=\"https:\/\/uabio.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/biomethane_gettyimages.png 960w, https:\/\/uabio.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/biomethane_gettyimages-768x400.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 461px) 100vw, 461px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, the resolution <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nerc.gov.ua\/news\/oprilyudnyuyetsya-proyekt-postanovi-shcho-maye-oznaki-regulyatornogo-akta-zmini-do-deyakih-postanov-nkrekp-shchodo-spriyannya-rozvitku-virobnictva-biometanu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00a0&#8220;On Approval of Amendments to Certain NEURC Resolutions on Promoting the Development of Biomethane Production&#8221;<\/a> was adopted, which will definitely contribute to the biomethane infrastructure expansion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amendments have been made to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>the Gas\u00a0Transmission\u00a0System Code;<\/li><li>the Gas Distribution Code.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The document defines the specificities of connecting a reverse compressor station, a part of the gas transmission system, which facilitates the physical transfer of surplus gas from the biomethane production facilities to the Gas Transmission System from the gas distribution systems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These changes contribute to the alleviation of the technical limitations of biomethane transmission to the gas distribution system, thereby incentivizing biomethane producers to increase gas production volumes.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This Resolution will enable virtual and physical storage and transfer of biomethane to Ukrainian consumers and export of biomethane via the Gas Transmission System to the European Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><em>It is the important step towards energy independence!<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We sincerely thank the\u00a0National Commission\u00a0for State\u00a0Energy Regulation\u00a0(NERC) of Ukraine for improving the gas codes in terms of simplifying the connecting of biomethane producers.
