On March 13<\/strong>, 2025, the Serbian Biogas Association<\/a> hosted its Annual Biogas Conference in Belgrade<\/strong>, gathering industry experts, policymakers, and business leaders to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in the biogas and biomethane sectors across Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bioenergy Association of Ukraine was represented by legal expert Anna Pastukh<\/strong>. She gave a presentation on “Ukraine\u2019s Path to Biomethane: from Idea to Reality”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investment interest is growing.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Financial institutions and private investors are actively exploring biogas and biomethane projects, recognizing their long-term potential in decarbonizing industry and transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EU integration is a driving force.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Ukraine advances its European integration process, alignment with the RED II\/III framework, Guarantees of Origin (GOs), and certification mechanisms are crucial for ensuring market access.<\/p>\n\n\n
