The event focused onhow Ukrainian producers can position themselves meaningfully in the European biomethane market \u2014 from production outlook to trading realities.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Georgii Geletukha<\/strong>, Chairman of the Board of UABIO, spoke at the webinar. In 2025, the total production of all five plants amounted to <strong>over 11 million cubic metres of pipeline biomethane and about 5,900 tonnes of Bio-LNG<\/strong>. In 2026, we expect <strong>two<\/strong> biomethane plants with a total capacity of<strong> 59 million cubic metres of biomethane per year<\/strong> to be launched. <strong>Six<\/strong> biomethane plants with a total capacity of over <strong>36.8 million cubic metres of biomethane per year <\/strong>are also scheduled to be launched in 2027 and 2028,&#8221;<\/em> said Georgi\u0456 Geletukha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During speech, the head of the UABIO board also highlighted the advantages of biomethane production in Ukraine and spoke about its total potential \u2014 approximately <strong>21.8 billion cubic metres of biomethane per year<\/strong>.
