{"id":6268,"date":"2019-06-20T10:48:00","date_gmt":"2019-06-20T07:48:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost:8888\/fgjoomla\/2019\/06\/20\/saf-biomethane-europe-2\/"},"modified":"2020-04-30T14:48:02","modified_gmt":"2020-04-30T11:48:02","slug":"saf-biomethane-europe-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uabio.org\/en\/materials\/articles\/6268\/","title":{"rendered":"Production of biomethane in Europe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An article on the development of the bioethanol market in Europe in 2011-2017, according to the annual statistical report (<a href=\"https:\/\/saf.org.ua\/en\/library\/537\/\">EBA Statistical Report 2018<\/a>) of the&nbsp;European Biogas Association.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In 2017, biomethane was produced in 15 EU countries: Austria, Great Britain, Hungary, Germany, Denmark, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Finland, France, Switzerland, and Sweden. Three other countries: Belgium, Ireland, Estonia \u2013 announced plans to start production of biomethane in 2018.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>For six years, the amount of biomethane produced per year has increased by 26 times \u2013 from 80 million to 1.94 billion cubic meters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The leader of the European biomethane market is still Germany, where about half of the European biomethane was produced in 195 plants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<address><a href=\"https:\/\/saf.org.ua\/news\/536\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Production of biomethane in Europe.
