The most interesting projects were chosen in the Czech Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">EC KUTNA HORA S.R.O. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/uabio.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/chehiya-dosvid.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9020\" width=\"351\" height=\"239\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The private company&nbsp;operates its own CHP on grass biomass and provides heat supply services. <\/li><li>The electric capacity of the CHP is 23 MW.<\/li><li>The source of energy is grain and rapeseed straw and purposefully grown energy crops.<\/li><li>The annual consumption of straw is 55 thousand tons.&nbsp;<\/li><li>As a rule, the supply of raw materials is carried out at a distance of up to 50 km from the power plant.&nbsp;The company has a long-term contract for 10 years and provides straw harvesting services for its partners. The company offers for fuel suppliers the opportunity to take a certified ash-based fertilizer after combustion.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MOSTEK ENERGO S.R.O.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/uabio.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/PC070024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9021\" width=\"351\" height=\"263\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A private company was created in September 2011 and included RSJ operates its own CHP on grass biomass and provides heat Investments (92%) and Dewarec (8%), which provided the project with the necessary financial resources.&nbsp;<\/li><li>The power plant is equipped with a steam boiler with a fluidized bed, suitable for burning a wide range of different types of biomass. <\/li><li>The electric capacity of the CHP is 4.9 MW in the condensing regime.&nbsp;<\/li><li>The project lasted from 2011 to 2015.&nbsp;<\/li><li>The total investment costs for the project amounted to 525 million Czech crowns.&nbsp;<\/li><li>With very few exceptions, the complete technology was manufactured in the Czech Republic and supplied by Czech partners.<\/li><li>Condensing heat from condensing cooling is partially used for air conditioning of raw material storage.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">TTS ENERGO S.R.O.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/uabio.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Znimok-ekrana-2020-10-29-o-13.08.38.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9022\" width=\"351\" height=\"235\" srcset=\"https:\/\/uabio.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Znimok-ekrana-2020-10-29-o-13.08.38.png 2030w, https:\/\/uabio.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Znimok-ekrana-2020-10-29-o-13.08.38-768x514.png 768w, https:\/\/uabio.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Znimok-ekrana-2020-10-29-o-13.08.38-1536x1028.png 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 351px) 100vw, 351px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The company is the operator of three large biomass boiler houses that supply thermal energy to district heating networks.&nbsp;<\/li><li>During the period 2001-2004, water heating and thermal oil boilers on wood, as well as a cogeneration unit with an ORC module, were installed at the T\u0159eb\u00ed\u010d &#8211; Sever boiler house.&nbsp;<\/li><li>A water-heating straw-burning boiler with a capacity of 5 MW was put into operation in 2006.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Another T\u0159eb\u00ed\u010d- Jih boiler house has two 3 MW wood-fired boilers on wood chips and two 5 MW hot-water boilers running on straw and using its own cigar burning technology.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Find more information in our position papers, in particular,\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/uabio.org\/en\/materials\/8685\/\" target=\"_blank\">UABIO Position Paper 24 \u201cAgricultural residues for energy.
