However, this is not enough, in particular, for bioenergy projects that plan to participate in auctions. Ukrenergo&#8217;s alternative proposal for support quotas for &#8220;other&#8221; alternative energy sources of 100 MW in 2021-2022 is more reasonable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why bioenergy projects are needed of support?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In Ukraine, a share of electricity generated from biomass\/biogas is unusually low.<\/li><li>Electricity production from biomass\/biogas is stable and does not require balancing.<\/li><li>There is an increased interest of investors in biomass and biogas projects.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><em><em><em>The position of the UABIO is prepared, discussed, and agreed upon by the\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/uabio.org\/en\/members\/companies\/\" target=\"_blank\">members of the UABIO<\/a>, which produce more than 50% of all energy from biomass and biogas in Ukraine.<\/em><\/em><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UABIO position \u2014 support quotas for &#8220;other&#8221; alternative energy sources should be increased to 100 MW annually for 2021 and 2022.\u00a0Our arguments we addressed to the acting\u00a0Minister of Energy of Ukraine Yurii Boiko in the corresponding letter.
