Position Paper №7 by the Bioenergy Association of Ukraine is another one in a series of planned publications on the major issues of bioenergy development in Ukraine. The Paper covers an issue of the possibility of using plant residues of agriculture for energy production in Ukraine. Such points as a generation of cereal straw, residues of grain corn (maize) production, and sunflower production, as well as existing areas of the residues utilization and preconditions for their use for energy production, are analyzed in the Paper.
