Position Paper № 9 covers state of the art, existing barriers, and prospects for bioenergy development in Ukraine. The Paper shows the opportunity, importance, and urgency of biomass use as a fuel. Realistic targets for the bioenergy sector development in Ukraine are suggested. To a great extent, Position Paper N 9 uses and compiles results of Position Papers 1-8, and suggests an integral conception of the sector development on their basis.
