As proof, we present the World Bank forecast of natural gas prices in Europe and the United States (in nominal dollars per million British thermal units), which indicates a significant increase in gas prices in the world.

The chart compares the latest available World Bank forecast for October 2020 with the previous World Bank forecast for April 2020.

The main task of Ukraine, according to UABIO experts, is not to become a hostage of this process. And the only way is the development of the renewable energy sector, in particular, we need to promote the transition to the usage of those energy sources that are an alternative to natural gas: biomass, biogas, biomethane.
