BioPart Project Workshop: Boosting Biogas Solutions through Cross-Country Collaboration
Yesterday, April 15, 2025, the third seminar of the BioPart project took place online (on the Zoom platform).
The event brought together approximately 35 participants from across the energy sector, biogas companies, manufacturing and agriculture sectors, as well as government bodies, academia and other stakeholders.

UABIO Chairman of the Board Georgii Geletukha joined the constructive discussion. UABIO Supervisory Board member Yurii Matveev also joined the event. In addition, the workshop was attended by a number of members of the Bioenergy Association of Ukraine. In particular:


This dynamic event focused on critical topics related to accelerating biogas solutions through cross-border collaboration.
Discussions centered on technological development, biomethane production strategies, knowledge sharing, and balancing the biomethane market across regions. Expert speakers from both national and international arenas shared insights into current trends and challenges.

- Challenges To Cross-Border Biomethane (Certificate) Trading.
- Swedish Municipal Solid Waste Management & Biogas/Biomethane Production.
- Bio-LNG and Bio-CNG as Transport Fuels in Sweden.



The workshop concluded with a vibrant panel discussion on future opportunities for collaboration. Experts explored key areas for joint efforts and knowledge exchange.
The Project Team extends heartfelt thanks to all participants for their valuable contributions. This workshop marked an important step toward strengthening regional cooperation and advancing sustainable biogas solutions in the Baltic Sea Region.
