Call for applications for the GCIP Ukraine 2025 acceleration programme to cleantech innovators has been extended
UNIDO and Greencubator have officially opened the call for applications for the GCIP Ukraine 2025 competition, offering finalists a three-month advanced acceleration programme for Ukrainian companies in the field of cleantech innovations. Applications are accepted until June 23 inclusive.
The GCIP Ukraine 2025 acceleration programme will offer a three-month acceleration programme with expert-led cleantech-specific business training, mentorship, and post-acceleration support. Participants will receive personalized mentoring and advice on entering new markets, developing a business strategy, and attracting investors. In addition, the most successful teams will receive grant support of up to $20,000.

Who would be interested?
Ukrainian companies that offer innovative solutions in the following areas are eligible to participate in the GCIP Ukraine 2025 acceleration programme:
- Energy efficiency
- Renewable energy
- Waste beneficiation
- Water efficiency
- Green buildings
- Green Transportation
- Advanced materials and chemicals
How to join?
Companies that meet the following criteria are welcome to apply for the GCIP Ukraine 2025 acceleration programme:
- Startups, small or medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
- A competent and established team
- At least one co-founder must be a Ukrainian citizen
- A ready-to-market product and initial customer base
- Readiness to actively engage in all accelerator sessions
- Good English proficiency (minimum B2 level)

GCIP is a Global Cleantech Innovation Programme led by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF), that spans 17 countries across Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and Latin America.
Since 2025, the second phase of the GCIP Ukraine programme has been implemented in Ukraine by Greencubator, a Ukrainian NGO that has been developing the sustainable entrepreneurship ecosystem in Ukraine for 16 years.
