For the SAF platform, we have prepared a short overview of the New Holland T7.270 Methane Power — the first tractor in its class to run on compressed natural gas (CNG), which is also capable of running on biomethane!

It was presented at the world’s largest agricultural machinery exhibition, AGRITECHNICA 2025, in Hanover, Germany. The tractor was on exhibition from 9 to 15 November. The first NH T7.270 methane tractor was sold from the stand for €290,000.

New Holland T7.270 Methane Power — перший трактор у своєму класі на стисненому природному газі (CNG), який також здатен працювати на біометані!

The New Holland T7.270 Methane Power has 270 hp and can operate autonomously for up to 11 hours with additional cylinders. In addition, it has the same performance characteristics as a diesel equivalent, with the additional benefit of reduced running costs.

The New Holland T7.270 Methane Power reduces CO₂ emissions by 10% (when using natural gas instead of diesel fuel), and when using biomethane, the tractor can achieve near-zero CO₂ emissions. If the biomethane is produced from manure, emissions can be reduced by -115% compared to diesel fuel.

“Reduced costs, increased comfort and environmental friendliness — all in one tractor!” — New Holland Agriculture.
