ELQ Ukraine is an investment and development company specialising in the energy sector of Ukraine. It is a subsidiary of the Polish company ELQ S.A., which is listed on the NewConnect market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. With more than 48 years of experience in the energy sector, ELQ S.A. is a leading player in the production, supply and investment in the energy infrastructure of Poland.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Since 1976, ELQ S.A. has specialized in the production of transformer stations and distribution equipment. The company`s roots are in distribution energy, where it has long served as a production backup for energy companies. In recent years, ELQ has successfully entered the renewable energy market and is already implementing solar farm construction projects as an EPC contractor.
ELQ are the only company in Europe offering comprehensive services in the renewable energy sector, covering the entire investment process: from development and production of equipment to construction and commissioning of farms, as well as technical consulting, measurements, O&M services, and after-sales support.
ELQ Ukraine is currently aiming to invest in the following energy projects:
- construction of facilities that generate electricity and heat;
- biogas and biomethane plants;
- thermal power plants and biomass boiler houses;
- cogeneration gas plants and gas turbines.
There are three main areas in which ELQ is already actively working in Ukraine:
- Preparations for the launch of specialised production of transformer substations and energy storage facilities in Ukraine have already begun.
- Building a portfolio of energy production projects (gas, biomass, municipal waste, solar power plants, biogas plants) in Ukraine. In the short term, this will attract about one billion euros of investment in these projects.
- Implementation of specific projects, in particular in one of the central regions of Ukraine. It will supply about 1,000 social infrastructure facilities (schools, hospitals, kindergartens) and will be an independent energy source.
ELQ Ukraine’s mission is to contribute to the rebuilding and modernisation of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure by attracting foreign investment, advanced technologies and management solutions. The company aims to become a reliable partner for public and private enterprises in restoring a stable and reliable energy system.
