KVP Project Ukraine: focus on identifying potentials, exchanging knowledge, and promoting technological innovation to sustainably shape the biogas industry in Ukraine.

Goal: to demonstrate the real benefits of business development in the biogas sector, which contributes to sustainable environmental development and climate protection in Ukraine.

Project BIOMETHAVERSE: demonstrating and connecting production innovations in the BIOMETHAne uniVERSE.

Goal: to diversify the technology basis for biomethane production in Europe, increase its cost-effectiveness and contribute to the uptake of biomethane technologies.

Project: advanced biomethane production from microalgae grown in the digestate from biogas plants.

Goal: to research the use of microalgae as a raw material for biomethane production.

Project: development of a business model for biomethane production in Ukraine (Innovate Ukraine). The project involves a comprehensive strategy to meet Ukraine’s energy needs, focusing on technological innovation, economic viability, and environmental sustainability.

Goal: to create a blueprint for the scalable business model of biomethane production.

Financing: Swedish Institute, Linköping University
Project BioPart: co-creating a pathway to boost biogas solutions in the Baltic Sea Region. Develop a network between Swedish, Polish and Ukrainian academia and private and public sectors.

Goal: to create new knowledge and practices corresponded to biogas solutions implementation, including biomethane production.
Period: 2023 – 2026

Project SAF Ukraine: is a unique platform for knowledge management and information dissemination exchange at national and international levels established in 2017.

Goal: to develop sustainable agribusiness models for the efficient production of high-quality agricultural and food products in Ukraine.

Project SEAFAIRER: Sustainable Energy and Alternative Fuels from Advanced Intermediate Renewable Energy carrier technology.

Goal: to demonstrate, at Technology Readiness Level 7, the production of improved intermediate biofuels for maritime transport.

Project: development and delivery of a comprehensive training program for biomethane production in Ukraine.
