BioPart
Biogas Partnership: co-creating a pathway to boost biogas solutions in the Baltic Sea Region. Develop a network between Swedish, Polish and Ukrainian academia and private and public sectors. This will be done through interactive workshops, presentations and study visits. It is funded by the Swedish Institute.

The main goal of the project is to create new knowledge and practices corresponded to biogas solutions implementation, including biomethane production. This is a pathway to replacing natural gas in the Baltic Sea Region and valorising the digestate for use as a biofertiliser. This valuable resource will contribute to soil remediation, especially in the post-war period.
Key project partners from:
- Linköping University (Sweden);
- Poznan University of Life Sciences (Poland);
- Polish Biomethane Organization;
- Sumy State University (Ukraine);
- Bioenergy Association of Ukraine.
The BioPart project is already actively interacting with the parties: the first meeting of the participants took place in Poland and a series of webinars were held.
