The team of the Bioenergy Association of Ukraine in partnership with the German Biogas Association (GBA) is implementing a new important three-year project, within which we are already analyzing our activities, approaches to work, positioning and communication strategy. As you know, the German association is an extremely powerful and large organization, so we are glad to learn from their experience.

We strive to be effective, representative and relevant, so that the contribution of our team to the development of RES in Ukraine and energy independence is maximal.

We are interested in the development and implementation of environmentally friendly biogas technologies in Ukraine, improving the investment climate and building a decentralized energy infrastructure.

We will be glad throughout the project to everyone: our members, readers, participants of our events and everyone who sees a future in RES, for suggestions, feedback and wishes.

Проєкт партнерства між асоціаціями

We would like to ask you:

  • Are our activities useful?
  • Are our materials interesting?
  • What content is missing (analytics, infographics, motivational posts, information about the state of affairs in Ukraine, interpretations of various technologies, question-and-answer section, information about our members, etc.)?
  • What topics or issues are we not covering enough?
  • What would you like to see on our pages?
  • On which social networks would you like to see UABIO?
  • Do you like the topics we already write about?
  • Do you understand how to become our member?
  • What’s stopping you from joining us?
  • Is the way we respond to changes and developments in the energy sector clear?
  • Do we communicate enough about participation in the development of the regulatory framework?
  • Would you like to know more about our team members and experts?

Choose a way that’s convenient for you to tell us how to be better (it can be a message on social networks, an email or a call).

The cooperation between GBA and UABIO is a significant step towards strengthening cooperation in the field of renewable energy. The project will focus on identifying potential, sharing knowledge and promoting technological innovations for the sustainable formation of the biogas industry in Ukraine.

The partnership is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

Why was our organization chosen?

Ukraine has one of the largest areas of agricultural land in Europe, and, therefore, a huge raw material potential for the production of biogas and biomethane.

In its energy strategy, the Ukrainian government outlines the creation of an innovative and decentralized energy system by 2050. Strengthening the biogas sector supports Ukraine in the energy transition and promotes decentralized energy supply, especially in rural areas with limited access to power grids.

This vector is critically important for Ukraine and its future! Thank you for the feedback!
