The Board is a key governing body, it is the main executive body of the Association that executes decisions adopted by the General Assembly. The Board is elected once per year, during the General Assembly, by members of the UABio having the right to vote. The Board represents interests of the Association in international organizations, government agencies, as well as in relations with the Ukrainian and foreign legal entities. The Board makes decision on the election of Chairman of the Board, admission of new members to the Association, and approval of experts in the Expert Council. Board members are elected unlimited number of times by the General Assembly in the amount of 6 (5 members and the Chairman of the Board). Board meeting takes place at least once per quarter. The Board may have correspondence meeting (i.e. via e-mail, teleconferences etc.).
