UABio’s Position Paper N6 is a regular document of the planned series of publications on the key issues of bioenergy development in Ukraine. The Paper considers the state of the art and prospects for the development of heat production from biomass in the EU countries and the world. We have analyzed prerequisites and barriers existing in Ukraine for the development of this sector and suggested conception for the introduction of bioenergy equipment for heat production from biomass in Ukraine until 2030.
