Analysis of the main trends of bioenergy development in the European Union

State of the art and prospects for the development of bioenergy in the EU-28 until 2030 are presented. Features of bioenergy contribution to different EU’s energy production and consumption sectors are analyzed. Based on the main trends existing in the EU, some recommendations for Ukraine’s bioenergy sector development are suggested.
